Jeff White
Mr. White is the Founder of the GovWin Network – the only online professional network & business platform built by government contractors for government contractors. GovWin transforms how organizations and professionals collaborate to secure new business, get idle consultants billable, and become more discoverable to potential teaming partners.
Prior to Deltek’s acquisition in December 2009, GovWin was mySBX. In two short years, mySBX was able to launch the platform, secure more than 5,000 companies as members, and land large clients such as Lockheed Martin, CACI, Serco, ManTech, and others.
With over 19 years of launching and leading businesses, Mr. White has founded several companies and led them to successful exits. As the founder of Blue Canopy in 2001, Mr. White led the company to receive two Inc. 500 awards for being one of the Top 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. The lowest growth year in the company was 98%, and in 2007 led to the successful sale of Blue Canopy to a private investment group.
Prior to launching Blue Canopy, Mr. White led a software development group for AT&T as E-Business Practice Director. Prior to AT&T, Mr. White was one of the founding members of VitalSpring Technologies, a data warehousing and data mining company focused on providing healthcare business analytics & data modeling. Mr. White was also Business Development Manager at Orbcomm, a leading satellite communications business targeting the heavy equipment industry with integrated Internet, and web-enabled tracking and monitoring solutions. Mr. White also held a variety of executive positions with Caterpillar Corporation.
Linda Berdine
Ms. Berdine has 35 years of executive experience spanning both industry and government. Ms. Berdine is an award-winning Executive, and Founder of two multi-million dollar companies. She has been the key staff liaison to Members of Congress and has served as Officer in Charge of multi-million dollar projects in the United States and abroad. Ms. Berdine has provided management consulting to Chief Information Officers (CIOs) throughout the government on critical, time-sensitive issues. Ms. Berdine is recognized as an industry expert in enterprise-wide architecture design and data center optimization. She has been an invited guest speaker for numerous Information Technology Conferences nationwide during her career.
Ms. Berdine founded G&B Solutions, Inc. in 2001, and served as the CEO and President. G&B specialized in information technology services and management consulting. Prior to G&B Solutions, Inc., Ms. Berdine was the Founder and President of Berdine and Associates, which specialized in systems integration and telecommunications consulting for national and international clients. Prior to creating her own companies, she served as the CIO/Director at the U.S. House of Representatives, Ms. Berdine was the liaison to members of Congress and was directly responsible for managing all of the House Information Systems (H.I.S.) activities. Her organization provided IT policy, planning, and operations for all Members, Committees, and House Officers. She was instrumental in designing and implementing the first nationwide telecommunications system in the 200-year history of Congress, for use by all Members. Ms. Berdine was selected to participate in a Congressional Delegation to Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic as a member of the U.S. Congressional Task Force; she accompanied five Congressmen who worked with the new Eastern Europe Parliaments.
Ms. Berdine has received over 30 awards for contributions to the Information Technology community. In 2009, Ms. Berdine was selected as one of the Top 100 CEOs in the Washington, DC area. Also, in 2009, she received the Woman Who Mean Business award from the Washington Business Journal. She received the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2008 and received the BRAVO, Women in Business Achievement Award in 2008. In 2007, Ms. Berdine received the Women in Technology Entrepreneur Leadership Award. She was voted Executive of the Year in 2006 by the Professional Services Council and Virginia Government Contractors Council. She was twice voted as one of the Top 100 Federal Executives.
Ms. Berdine was selected to be a member of the Congressional Delegation Task Force to represent the United States in Eastern Europe; serves on the AFCEA Bethesda Chapter Advisory Board, serves as a Director on the AFCEA International Board, and serves as Vice-Chair on The Children’s Inn at National Institutes of Health Board of Directors. She served for four years as the President of the AFCEA Bethesda Chapter, which she helped establish. She is the founder of the AFCEA-sponsored charity event for the Children’s Inn at NIH. Ms. Berdine also serves on numerous high-tech companies ‘ of Directors.
